I’ve always been able to visualize sound since I was little. I thought it was normal to “see sound”. I didn’t know it was a rare ability until I discovered I had synesthesia when I was a junior in college.

Hello! My name is Nic Yulo and I am a writer-director based in New York City. My background is in Fine Arts and Creative Writing so transitioning to filmmaking felt like a natural evolution. I graduated from the Columbia University MFA Film program in May 2018 and am currently a writer on the upcoming AAA video game Ghost Recon: Breakpoint.

I got to attend the Adobe Awards in 2016 with my short film Replica, along with a group of hyper-talented humans that I consider myself fortunate to have met. Since then, some of us have gone on to publish books, embark on award-winning animation careers, and even get hired by Adobe full time.

Willy Wong is one of today’s outstanding talents.
Completing his MFA at the Yale University in 2005 and his AB at Dartmouth College in 1999, he successfully started his career in designing brands. With his innovative idea Wong won the 2003 Adobe Design Achievement Awards focusing on Experimental Design.
His ADAA submission, The Weather Resort, imagined a visual identity for a conceptual hotel chain. The project used still, moving, and interactive components to create a particular kind of mood without creating an actual architectural site. Willy Wong describes the idea behind his project as “engineering an experience around the weather.
