She\u2019s also created environmental graphics and large-scale art pieces for Adobe offices around the world.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Sonja\u2019s cheering for:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.adobeawards.com\/us\/live\/20173242\" target=\"_blank\"><em>\u201cMox\u201d<\/em><\/a><em> by Sumana Amatayakul (School of Visual Arts; Commercial &#8211; Web \/ App \/ Game Design). I love this concept because it enhances\u00a0an existing physical experience in a simple, clever, and fun way. With the barrage of unattractive, over-hyped fitness equipment out on the market, it works on both a personal and group level, and\u00a0it has a built-in naturally-evolving experience to retain users over time.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Sumana has thought out various user experiences well, explaining the differences in mode of the app and how the sleeve would react. I also love seeing Sumana\u2019s sketchbook notes and thinking behind the placement of sensors and physical interaction with the bag. She also creates unique Photoshop brushes.\u00a0During her year as one of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.adobe.com\/about-adobe\/creative-residency.html\" target=\"_blank\">Adobe\u2019s Creative Residents<\/a>, she developed a\u00a0popular creative community around her streaming work.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Syd\u2019s cheering for:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.adobeawards.com\/us\/live\/20174235\" target=\"_blank\"><em>\u201cHue Worlds\u201d<\/em><\/a><em> by Raymond Tonga (Sheridan College; Fine Art &#8211;\u00a0Illustration). By far! It\u2019s a simple but strong story, well told. In formal terms, she\u00a0makes stuff that makes others want to make stuff.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Erica\u2019s cheering for:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.adobeawards.com\/us\/live\/20174617\" target=\"_blank\"><em>\u201cMoth Holes\u201d<\/em><\/a><em> by Aliya Ghare (OCAD University; Social Impact &#8211; Photography \/ Print \/ Illustration \/ Graphic). This work is a powerful example of editorial illustration. It caused me to examine my perspective on a complex topic. The concept is an instant read but the meaning deepens as you notice the details. It\u2019s beautiful from a technical standpoint, too. I can hear these posters. Somehow the artists have created imagery that is percussive but peaceful, mathematical but expressive \u2014 with just one shape and the color black. During his time as an <a href=\"http:\/\/www.adobe.com\/about-adobe\/creative-residency.html\" target=\"_blank\">Adobe Creative Resident<\/a>, he brought to life his flagship project, <a href=\"http:\/\/craigwinslow.com\/work\/lightcapsules\/\" target=\"_blank\">\u201cLight Capsules\u201d<\/a>, reviving dozens of fading ads &amp; local history across the United States and UK.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Craig\u2019s cheering for:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>It\u2019s REALLY hard to choose, but I\u2019m also going to go with <\/em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.adobeawards.com\/us\/live\/20173242\" target=\"_blank\"><em>\u201cMox\u201d<\/em><\/a><em> by Sumana Amatayakul.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>I really dig the concept. It&#8217;s a unique solution to not only make a workout more exciting, but also to educate the user on different boxing patterns. I&#8217;d love to play with this in real life; it feels like a fresh idea with many possibilities to create entirely new physical workouts.
